Garrett was born in San Diego, California,
and is the oldest of three children born to Joseph and Elizabeth Yamada. He
grew up attending the First Presbyterian Church in San Diego and his
grandfather, the Rev. Kenji Kikuchi, was a Presbyterian pastor who attended
Princeton Seminary and served for many years in a Japanese-American congregation
in San Diego.
Florence Deans believes that a relationship with God is an exciting and fun
adventure, and that the people who get the most out of life are those who walk
hand in hand with God. She is passionate about helping people connect with God
through faith in Jesus Christ.
Flo was born
and raised in Hong Kong, and is the daughter of
Brenda
has been attending Sturge for over 14 years. From
the first time she visited she felt so much warmth and sincerity from the people
in the congregation. She feels blessed to have found such a wonderful, caring
church that has helped her grow spiritually. She also feels blessed that her
children have been a part of this church family. She hopes that every family
who visits will have the same warm feeling as she did when she first came.
